Can't log on to dashboard/wordpress site - Error Message (4 posts)

Hi, I run a WordPress blog hosted through 1and1. For the first time I cannot log in to my dashboard at all. As per usual, I put http://www.the-bulb.com/wp-admin in the URL and get this message.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function stc_get_credentials() in /homepages/10/d353593747/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/simple-twitter-connect/stc-login.php on line 131

Any thoughts on how I can fix this? I only know the absolute basics on how to run the site, so any simple instructions/advice would be greatly appreciated.

FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) & delete the wp-content/plugins/simple-twitter-connect folder.

Thank you Esmi. How do I find out which file manager is used in my host's control panel? Sorry if this is a silly question, I really don't know a lot!

When you sign into your hosted account you should be at, or have a link to, your control panel. It could be called v-deck or CP or some other name.
There will be an icon of a file cabinet or something like that and the words File Manager
