I just put up a new site here: http://norsemanblacksmith.com/

The installation worked since you can, in fact, go to the site. But I can’t log into WordPress. When I try, I get this error:

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 18350080) (tried to allocate 30720 bytes) in /home/kksmith/public_html/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 274

This is immediately after installation via Fantastico Deluxe on my CPanel. No plugins (except what might have been part of the initial installation) have been installed.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks.

    Ken

I did search and none of the solutions worked for me. That’s why I posted. I’ll try again.

What did you try? And don’t say ‘everything’ 🙂 Just list what you tried already.

I ended up having it solved by my host. The thing that made it work in the end was the addition of this: SetEnv PHPRC /home/USERNAME/public_html

to my .htaccess file. Prior to that I had edited my wp-config, deleted my plugins folder, copied a generic php.ini file into my public_html and edited that for memory size, all to no avail.

    Thanks.
