What was the change that you made?

I had been on the Dashboard. Then I clicked on ( I think it was) the settings option. I can’t remember what the page looked like, but there were two options that had http://mywebpage/wordpress. The top one I think was pointing to what should be the HOME page. I wanted to point it to a different page than it was, so I opened that page, highlighted the link, went back to the setting’s page, highlighted the link that was in the top setting, and replaced it. Everything looked right, then I saved it, and opened a new tab to check and see if it is correct. My Theme is gone, I don’t get the LOGIN screen when I try to go to or admin.php. Instead it takes me to my webpage, but I can’t edit it from there.

I figure I’ll have to login to my file manager and edit one of the files, but I don’t know which one. Will it be a PHP? I can edit those, if it’s a CSS I don’t have anything that I know of that will edit one. I could put it on a memory stick, and take it to a friends house, edit it, then copy the file back up to the webpage.

Sorry I can’t provide more / better explanation of what I did. I do have a photographic memory, but my recall is defective… 😉

Sounds like you’ll need to change some settings in your database.

It seems that you have changed the site URL from the you will have to modify the wp_options table and reset the site URL as it was..
