    What exactly did you change?

[Please stop posting in uppercase & shouting at us. Complete post de-capped.]

I wanted to change my url name,

I went to my wp-dashboarad settings and change the url name
my site then pull up with no style
I changed it back however once I tried to log into my dash board
I got this message (one or more database tables are unavailable. The database may need to be repaired.)
I pressed on repaired— the other message to me to go into my wp-config files and add info.

I erased two url files that I changed in the config folder. After I found out I should have just corrected them. So now I am lost and really need someone who can support me with this problem.

I tried to follow the instructions but I am now more lost than starting.

My hosting company(hostgator) tried and they are having issues

    Help.
this is the url to the site…

You erased what 2 files? Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of your current version of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

If I was sure of the files I wouldn’t be requesting support .

However I do know they were wp-config php files

like i said i went into wp settings and changed the url name then once I tried to log on i got this message from word press.

“To allow use of this page to automatically repair database problems, please add the following line to your wp-config.php file. Once this line is added to your config, reload this page.”

    define(‘WP_ALLOW_REPAIR’, true);

I then went into my config files and tried to do that but its no use..

I read the so many forms and its been making things worse.

I’m not sure your job in support, is this a word press rep are you able to look into my account and re-tack ????

I am not able to fix this problem and I need inside support

    Thanks

WordPress is free software and this free, volunteer-staffed forum is the only support resource available via wordpress.org. wordpress.org distributes and documents the WordPress application but has no connection with any site running that software. Asking us to fix your site is like asking Microsoft to fix the copy of Windows on your laptop.

If you have deleted your wp-config.php file, you will need to re-construct that file manually using wp-config-sample.php as a template.

You’re running your own self-hosted site and you are responsible for your own issues. We’re all volunteers here.

You have a database error, and so that means you deleted wp-config.php or need to correct settings in wp-config.php. Or ask Hostgator to restore a backup of your site.

If you can’t do the work yourself, consider looking for a reputable person to fix it correctly on jobs.wordpress.net or freelancing sites such as Elance.
