• I just updated a group of plugins for my site. This crashed my access to the site and now at the wp-login page there is nothing but: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/113242/webspace/httpdocs/theengineinstitute.org/wp-content/plugins/user-registration-aide/views/ura-debug.php on line 53

Does anyone know how I can get access to my site back?

I am suspicious it was plugin: user-registration-aide plugin

Since I am now locked out I have no idea which version I am running.

Is there a way to uninstall the plugin on my server? I see the uninstall file there but don’t know how to do that on the server side.

  • Looks like you have a problem with one of your plugins – namely user-registration-aide.

FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) & reame the wp-content/plugins/user-registration-aide folder to wp-content/plugins/user-registration-aide-broken. Then upload a completely fresh copy of that plugin’s folder to wp-content/plugins. That should fix that issue without any loss of data.

    Esmi,
    Awesome.
For the fresh copy do I get that after I log into my WP site?

Yep – assuming it is a WPORG plugin, that will work just fine.

I got a same kind of error. Do you think your solution will work here to?
If it is because of a plugin update will it not repeat that error in the processes than follow?

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_error_codes() on a non-object in C:\domains\name.nl\wwwroot\wp-content\plugins\user-registration-aide\classes\user-reg-aide-customCSS.php on line 138
