  • If you get disable that plugin is all well?

Statcounter seems to be a very out of date plugin, you’d be best to try something else

Problem is I can’t even log in. I get even more of that message when I try to get into my back office:

Delete the plugin via FTP and you should be able to get into admin.

Oh and congrats on your wedding RVooDoo! Also, what do you use to keep track of your blog visiters?

Songdogtech I can’t even get into my back office to delete anything. What I posted above is all I see when I try to log in.

I have searched for FTP and can’t seem to figure out how to do this “via FTP”

Thanks very much! I use a variation of statpress, I’ll check which one

You need to log into your host or use an ftp program to get in to delete that plugin. For instance, I host with godaddy, so I log onto their site to get into my hosting and I can see all my files. Or I can use a program like filezilla to ftp to my host, and can view add or delete files that way. Either way, you need to delete that plugin from your wordpress directory/wp-content/plugins

you should be able to log in after that

Ok thanks RVoodoo. I was just on some FTP sites trying to figure out what to do. I have GoDaddy as well as my host so I will go that route. Then I’ll look at statpress 🙂

if you have godaddy, you don’t even need to use http://ftp….just sign into godaddy and get to your hosting section and you can view your files, then delete directly from there…just be careful, only delete the statcounter folder
