Can't link once Aviary has been installed

Hi – I haven’t been able to use the linking feature since I installed the image editor Aviary – https://wordpress.org/plugins/aviary-editor/ . By chance has anyone found a work around for a similar challenge as this is an awesome app and Im super keen to keep using it.
