can’t install Wordfence Security

    Hi,
    When I try to activate it after installation I get this error message:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined method DateTime::createFromFormat() in /home/har/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wfAPI.php on line 106

    I installed the plugin from the plugins directory, and also tried to download from another website which I know that is working fine. Nothing works.

    What should I do?

    Hi,
    Could you please check the version of PHP installed on your server? the plugin requires PHP >= 5.6, and WordPress recommends PHP version 7.2 or greater.

    The PHP version of the server is 5.6.30.

    Is there a way to install WF plugin?

    Hi,
    Please try to disable other plugins installed -temporarily- then retry installing Wordfence plugin.

    I don’t know why I didn’t think of this myself…
    when I disabled the “Page Builder by SiteOrigin” plugin it worked.
