# can't install plugins or updates

 * Hi folks
    I have installed the latest WordPress version, now I try to install
   some plugins I need, but it isn’t possible, due to the following message. I can’t
   install plugin, can’t upgrade a language file (I’m Swiss, and have installed 
   the german version of wordpress).
 * Warning: array_keys() expects parameter 1 to be array, boolean given in /home_pr4/
   t/h/theart2rock.ch/htdocs/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-upgrader.php on line 365
 * I have tried so many things, changing the permissions for the wp-content folder
   to “777” also to all the subfolders.

 * Are you able update via FTP? If so, you can try: [http://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress_Extended](http://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress_Extended)
 * From whatever program you are using simply update/upload the particular plugin/
   theme. You should be able to see the plugin|theme in your dash’s corresponding
   admin screen. 🙂
