# Can't install plugins

 * I want to update my WP but i have not backed up my database yet. I tried to do
   that by installing the updraft plugin, but it would not install. It turned out
   it wasnt just that plugin but that i can’t install plugins at all. In the beginning
   i got a message that looked somewhat like this:
 * Installing Plugin: RandomQuotr 1.0
 * Downloading plugin package from [http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/randomquotr.zip](http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/randomquotr.zip)
 * Unpacking the plugin package
 * Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class pclzip in /home/”example”/public_html/blog/
   wp-admin/includes/class-pclzip.php on line 171
 * But now it doesnt show anything at all. it just doesnt react.
    sry for the poor
   grammar, english is not my native language.
 * Please help

 * i forgot to mention, i cant update to the latest version of WP either… No error
   codes, just doesnt react…

 * I also tried to install the plugin manually, still does’nt work…
