  • Even though you have your own URL, your site is a site — that means you won’t be able to install your own plugins and themes.

More information on the differences between them:

Ah ok Thanks thats what I was afraid of. I’ve done the hosting thing before with joomla but I’m trying to get a site together that parents of a high school team can contribute to easily.

So then what I’m trying to do is find a workaround for the countdown to an event plugin. It’s showing the wrong amount of time and just saying 1 month. I want a Months days running down format. Also the flickr widget is wonky. No pictures show. Does anyone know of workarounds or if there are more widgets available than what they show?

You’ll have to ask support for any details about what you can do with their services:

    Good luck with the site!
