    Hi,

I’ve looked online and on the forum but nothing is easily digestible for someone who doesn’t know anything about coding. So please be patient with me!

I use Bluehost as my hosting service (only bought the domain and website a few days ago) and all I’ve had are problems. I set up WordPress and downloaded some plug ins. I then kept getting a 500 server error. Eventually got through the online chat to Bluehost who deleted all my plug ins which resolved the 500 server problem. Okay, so one of the plug ins was causing the error (despite having only downloaded the popular ones that have thousands/millions of downloads).

But since blue host have deleted all my plug ins, I can’t download any more. Here is a screen shot of what comes up when I try to download anything:

    Downloading install package from https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/wp-super-cache.1.4.8.zip…

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    Could not create directory. /home3/tombretr/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/

    Plugin install failed.

    Return to Plugin Installer

If someone could help that would be amazing. I have no knowledge of coding etc, just the extreme bare minimum, so if you have some way of resolving this using coding etc, just talk to me like someone who knows nothing.

    Thanks,

    Tom.
