can't install new blog

    I have created many wordpress blogs before, so I know how to use it, but I tried to make a new installation today and I get a page which says 1) File: /home/lyx46496/public_html/dub- turbo/wp-config.php [ERROR! ]
    2) File: /home/lyx46496/public_html/dub- turbo/data.sql [ERROR! ]

    or

    Install WordPress (2/3)
    The installation can not be completed:
    – This directory already exists or the directory field is empty
    Click on the browser’s Back button to fix reported errors.

    The fact is that (a) that directory doesn’t exist (b) the directory field is NOT empty

    Can someone please tell me what is going on here? Thanks
