 * Are you adding **wordpress.** to your Table Prefix on install. Maybe leave it
   at **wp_** will work for you.

 * I would guess _wordpress_ is the database name you provided during the install.
   Have you created the database in your server?

   return hence its repair didn’t repair

 * Destroy the database and create a new one. This time, do not give it a name like`
   wordpress`. Call it something like `mysite`.

 * How do you access your DB server? Do you have phpMyAdmin?
 * If you have a direct connection to you DB, you can achieve it with the following
   command:
 * `DROP DATABASE wordpress`
 * There is no undo, so be careful with it.
 * If your database was provided by your hosting provider, its better to contact
   them and ask for detailed directions.

 * am new to wordpress, i try running wordpress on my local server it keeps saying“
   We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and
   password is okay) but not able to select the youthchurch database.” but my joomla
   site site is running fine with the same database, username and password please
   kindly help me out
