I get this problem too, in Firefox. Had a different problem with IE that was resolved by swapping out a couple of files. That issue is treated elsewhere, but I’m interested in fixing this one now. * I scan the 2.5 upgrade and don’t find ‘buttonsnap’ anywhere. I disabled all of my plugins and get an error in jquery, line 11. * If I’m reading this right, the function seems to be e() in jquery, and this is inside of tb_init(), inside of tb_show(…) in thickbox.js. * “uncaught exception: Permission denied to get property Window.tinyMCE” * When plugins are enabled, the same error manifests elsewhere. Believe it or not, this action worked once. ONCE. Make sure you delete the whole of your wp-admin directory then re-upload the latest version. If I access the admin pages over http, it’s fine. Tried deactivating plugins and it didn’t make a difference.
