    Hi there,

I’ve been having a hard time trying to import user’s birthday into WordPress/Buddypress. Right now i have a huge list of users from Excel which i am trying to import, but i can’t seem to figure out what date format it does accept.

My sheet has already the fields in each column, including the ones from the custom fields in buddypress, it does import all of the fields except the date.

The plugin menu does warn about dates that it should be in this format “2016-01-01 00:00:00” but even like this i get the error below:

    bool(false) string(5) “d/m/Y” NULL

Any ideas? I also bought another plugin to import users to buddypress, but i still have the same issue. I just don’t know what to do anymore.

    Best regards,
    Vinny

    Good morning @vinld,

It seems that there is some kind of problem with the format.

I am not sure about which one needs BuddyPress (I don’t use BuddyPress) but try with this one: 2017/01/17.

    Good morning @carazo

    Thanks for the quick reply

I tried this format as you said, but it did not work, im really struggling with this, and i couldn’t find other users going through the same issue as me.

Maybe it is something related to WordPress i guess? Have you tried importing dates?

I saw that there is an test.csv example at the plugin dashboard, but it does not have an example for dates

    Cheers!

    @vinld,

Sorry but I cannot help more.

I don’t use BuddyPress since some years ago.

I would need to see what’s happening but really we have no time now :(.

If you find it please, tell me.
