Can’t import books – 500 internal server error

    I’m trying to use your Google Books Importer plugin with my wordpress account but am running into some trouble getting it up and running. I’m able to search for books, but when I click “Import” I get a 500 internal server error. I have allow_url_fopen = on enabled in my .user.ini file (I didn’t install wordpress myself as I am using this on a school server for a school project). Can you help?

    Hello

    It’s difficult to tell why you get 500 internal server error without looking at the error logs. Your server probably is probably logging these errors.

    I suggest you try to find this log and see what are the last few lines which could be relevant to Google Books Importer plugin. I will be glad to assist further but we will need to find what’s causing 500 error first.
