I am having this same issue… it appears to be a bug.

I’m thinking paypal made an update and now the plugin is out of date.
Hoping to see an update on this soon. I’d like to be able to hide the Pay Later button.
Hi there! This was indeed a change within PayPal that we had to address after the fact. You’ll see this fixed by updating to v2.1.0 of the PayPal Checkout plugin.

Hello, I can confirm that the update removed the “Pay Later” button.
In order to avoid issues like this possibly cropping up in the future, is it possible to implement a feature/option for this plugin that blocks all buttons besides just “Paypal” from appearing?

There is not a way to change this in this instance, as what happened is PayPal added in and changed a new source that the code couldn’t handle at the time. When this happens, there will be updates to accommodate this, but hopefully changes like this are not as sudden in the future.
I have updated to version 2.1.0 and am still having this issue.
I figured it out. Just uncheck the ‘allow PayPal credit’ options after you upgrade. YAY!

I’m having this same issue. Everything is updated and all boxes are unchecked but “pay later” is still there on checkout.
