[Resolved] Can't hide admin features of a plugin

  • I want to hide the quick-add tabs of the Download Monitor Plugin. They show up in an overlayed iframe when I click on the button “Insert Download” (just right after the “Add Media” button). I tried several IDs and Classes with no success. 🙁

Any hint on how I can hide these tabs? Or can the developer maybe pls extend Adminimize, so that it is possible to do so…? 🙂

Only via CSS selector. Add custom options with the css selector, save, and now you have custom option. You can find a selector via Web Developer in Chrome or Firebug in Firefox.

I know that it works that way. I already have custom options set up to hide certain parts of the backend. But it won’t work with the Download Monitor. 🙁

Now it works. I had it under the posts. That hasn’t work. Now i set it up in the global options and now I can hide the quick-add from DLM:
    #insert-download h2
