I can see a preview when going to the customise menu but changes are not reflected on any pages, even with Force Styles selected. Checking the generated site and font-family comes up with – apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, “Segoe UI”, “Roboto”, “Oxygen”, “Ubuntu”, “Cantarell”, “Fira Sans”, “Droid Sans”, “Helvetica Neue”, sans-serif;. I think this is the default for 2019 which would mean that no new code is being pushed through.

I have tried another google fonts plugin which has also failed so it could be my hosting. Do you have any idea what the problem could be? Does the plugin need a google api key?

    Thanks in advance.

    Tom.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply!

It’s a very early stage test site at the moment that has a coming soon plugin enabled. I will disable that but there aren’t really any proper pages to speak of as yet, the home test does have headings and paragraphs though. The site is http://www.roslynswanson.com

Hi I’m going to instal a different theme that has the fonts I need already installed. Still have no idea why this plugin hasn’t worked, I’ve disabled all other plugins and still no joy.

    Okay thank you.

Hey Danny – I have the same problem as Tom.

I’m using the 2019 theme, but not able to apply different fonts even with the force changes active.

I’ve tried to target the font-family with CSS and !important to no avail either.. Just wondering if you or anyone knows of any instances where someone is using the 2019 theme and able to change the font-family.

    Thank you!

    Hi @carolchaan,

Would you please be able to create a separate support ticket and provide a link to your website?

    Thanks
