 * Hello. I created a LMS curriculum successfully using WordPress theme 2017 theme.
   I (admin) and 3 others testers have been able to progress through the 4 sections,
   each section containing 4 lessons.
 * I invited 2 new testers to sign up for this free curriculum but they cannot get
   past the “get started” page. They should be able to start lesson 1 in section
   1 but the page always returns to the “get started” point.
 * I’m sure there’s a trigger – a date or something that I haven’t set correctly
   but after spending a few hours going through the learning videos, searching,
   etc, i can’t figure it out. Any ideas?
 * Love the LMS plugin!
    Thanks, Scott

 * Good to hear from you!
 * The first think I would recommend is flushing the permalinks: [https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-flush-wordpress-rewrite-rules-or-permalinks/](https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-flush-wordpress-rewrite-rules-or-permalinks/)
 * Next are you using drip content or course start date features at all? Check the
   course settings and the settings on the first couple of lessons, and let us know.
 * Cheers,

 * Thanks for the response.
 * 1) I flushed the permalinks as mentioned but unfortunately that did not fix the
   issue
    2) Drip content is not being used. 3) Enable enrollment period is turned
   off. 4) Enable course time period is turned off. 5) Enable course prerequisite
   is turned off.
 * This is set up as a free course consisting of an intro lesson with no prereq
   or quiz. After the intro lesson, the user should be able to mark the intro lesson
   as complete and then go to Lesson 1 of Section 1.
 * Within the course access plan settings, the access expiration date of the free
   course is 3/31/17.
 * Course capacity is 10 users with only 5 users enrolled. 3 of the users are able
   to access the course, take quizzes and proceed to the next lesson or section.
   The 2 new test users just added late last week cannot get past the “get started”
   point.
 * Thanks, Scott

 * [@scott462](https://wordpress.org/support/users/scott462/),
 * Can you provide us with a link to your course so we can take a look at what’s
   going on here in reality rather than in theory?

 * [@scott462](https://wordpress.org/support/users/scott462/),
 * I went and registered and completed your first lesson and took the quiz on the
   second (didn’t do so hot…)
 * It appears to me that everything is functioning correctly and well.
 * So, are you still having issues?
 * If you are, please check out what kind of caching plugins you have installed (
   or if you have server level caching setup) and, at least temporarily, disable
   those caches. Data for you logged in users *should not* be cached. Caching works
   great on blogs but causes issues with a very dynamic site like one powered by
   LifterLMS.
 * If these issues are still going on I think it’s probably a result of session /
   data issues resulting from caching.
 * Hope that helps,

 * Yes, i was hoping you would do better on that quiz 🙂
 * Thanks for checking it out – you’re right – I had my 11 yr old enroll in the
   course and he was able to take lesson 1 quiz with no problems. I then had him
   log out and log back in to see if he could continue on to lesson 2 (he could)
   so he’s having no issues.
 * Must be one of these plug ins – all in one seo pack by Michael Torbert, Jetpack
   by WordPress or google xml sitemaps by Arne Brachhold. The other plugins are
   social media, calendar and contact form.
 * Thanks! I’ll figure it out.

 * [@scott462](https://wordpress.org/support/users/scott462/),
 * I really need to know if your 11-year-old did better than me on the quiz though.
   It’s important…
 * As far as I know we have no know issues with any of the plugins you’re reporting
   there but it’s hard to say… plugins are always changing.
 * You can try re-enabling all of them and if the issue returns disabling them one
   by one until the issue returns. Then you have your conflict and at that point
   we can probably recreate the issue and see if we can prevent the conflict somehow(
   usually we can).
 * Thanks,

 * Since we’re all friends here, yes he barely did better than you (50 points).
   He just happens to be an expert, though, on that topic.
 * But seriously, thanks for the help, I’ll continue to monitor it and report back
   if I come up with anything helpful.
 * Thanks again,
 * Scott
