Can't get rid of white bar above Header

  • that’s weird, doesn’t show any css in Firebug other than #header.
    however this may provide a clue:
    if you do this:

    #header {
        padding: 0;
    }

    and change this :

    page {
    background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.1);
    }

    to this

    page {
    background-color: #333333;
    }

    you’ll see your header margin disappaer and the white line as well, only for the wrapper area, but unfortunately not the background!?!?

    I had to change your page color from rgba values, otherwise the page was transparent over the white bar, not sure why that would be.

    Maybe your background is using rgba as well? in any case, I can’t seem to access the css for the background to test it. So I’m stumped for now.

    never mind, this appears to do the trick:

    body {
        padding-bottom: 0;
    }

    who would have known that was your body? weird, but it worked in Firebug.

    Thanks! That got rid of the white bar, but the header is still not the same distance from the top as it is on the other pages for the website. Any other ideas? It still looks way better now, but I’m a bit of a perfectionist.

    Firebug see’s your entire dark grey background as a header, but only on the blog page! which is just as goofy as that little strip above being the body. I’m confused, but I’ll let you know if that changes.
