# Can't get plugin working ?

 * Hi,
    I have installed wp-login.php 1.9 on a new initial installed WP 3.8. I activated
   the plugin and uses default setting.
 * my site is [http://pemca.dk/wp1/](http://pemca.dk/wp1/)
    permalink settings :
   Post name [http://pemca.dk/wp1/sample-post/](http://pemca.dk/wp1/sample-post/)
   Rename wp-login.php : [http://pemca.dk/wp1/login/](http://pemca.dk/wp1/login/)
   Your login page is now here: [http://pemca.dk/wp1/login/](http://pemca.dk/wp1/login/).
   Bookmark this page! – Permalink structure updated.
 * When i try to access [http://pemca.dk/wp1/login/](http://pemca.dk/wp1/login/)
   i get 404 Not Found
    The requested URL /wp1/login/ was not found on this server.
   Apache/2.2.22 (Debian) Server at pemca.dk Port 80
 * What am i doing wrong ? – Do i need to change filenames or file structure ?

 * I’m not sure what that means, but something must be going wrong with rewriting
   your urls. Try saving your permalink structure again.

 * Hi,
    Now posts and plugin works.
 * nano /etc/apache2/sites-available/pemca.dk
 *  </Directory>
    <Directory “/var/www/pemca.dk/”> Options FollowSymLinks AllowOverride
   All Order allow,deny Allow from all </Directory>
 * a2enmod rewrite <- this did the trick 🙂
    service apache2 restart
