Cant get nofollow to work

Hi. I have downloaded 3 different plugins (deactivating each after it seemed to not work) and I cannot get any of my html to show nofollow. All say blank. I am currently trying the pretty link lite to work. I make the new link in that plug in, then in my post I highlight the word and click add link. I then attach the pretty link there and click open in new window. When I hover over the word I see my pretty link, but when I check the source it shows blank not nofollow. I cant get this to work anywhere! I’m going loco
