Probably because a sort order is specified in your theme. Open it up and change it to menu order.
If you tell us what function your theme is using to output the links, we can tell you the exact code to use. 😉
No. It’s alphabetical.
You can change it by putting a #1, 2, 3, 4, etc. in front of the links.
I have two link categories (blogroll and forums) that are always in alphabetical order but the links under the blogroll are not alphabetical. Is there a way to set their order?

I personally just have them output in random order (it changes on each page load).
viper007Bond, where do I change things to menu order??? I am using the Blix theme at http://www.pixelsforvets.com/blog
Steps:
1. Check what template is used in your sidebar to display the links list.
2. Go and find it in the Codex Template_Tags and read its decsription, usage, parameters and examples.
3. If it is “manipulated” from the admin panel > Links etc. and study the admin panel of your tool 🙂
Cool, I finally found it under “Links” in the sidebar.php file in my blix theme folder and changed it from “name” to “ID” – — – I’m new to word press, so its gonna go a little slow to start!!! Thanks to everyone for their input..
