Can't get links showing on WP 3 default (twenty ten) theme (3 posts)

I've just installed the latest WP installation with the latest theme and have now tried for hours to get the links (blogroll) section showing in the menu. I've tried searching the web, clicking almost every button and still can't get them to show. I also tried a theme "Piano Black" which I like very much, the blogroll does appear on this theme BUT when I set categories for the links, the categories never show up, the links just remain as one long unorganised list. Please help as the links section on WordPress 3 just doesn't seem to function with ease, even with the default twenty ten theme.

Ah, just solved my own problem, thought I'd share it to help others. Go to the Dashboard, and select 'Widgets', then DRAG the 'Links' widget into "Secondary Widget Area" (or whereever you want) and they'll appear.

jameswp88, well done! I have been trying to do exactly the same thing - albeit 7 months after you figured out how to do it. Thanks for helping this WordPress newbie make some progress.
