Can’t get Jetpack to Connect to WordPress.com | WordPress.org

I recently uninstalled and re-installed Jetpack on my site machinerysafety101.com. After reinstallation of the plugin, I have been unable to get the plugin to connect to WordPress.com following login to WordPress.com during the setup workflow. I’ve updated to the latest version of the plugin, 8.6.1, and still no joy. At this point I’m completely stuck. Any help that anyone can provide is appreciated.

OK, sounds like a plan. I’m sure hoping someone can help me straighten this out. It’s driving me nuts.
