• It wants me to get an authentication from google analytics but apparently my google account isn’t set up for analytics and trying to go to the page to do so just comes up with a blank screen. Manually entering a ua code (whatever that is) will block the dashboard apparently -that’s all that we are told. Basically, there’s insufficient documentation.

    Hi there,
I wish you had contacted our support team before writing the review as we’re happy to help users get started with MonsterInsights.

Did you follow the setup guide on MonsterInsights.com?

The Reporting area cannot work with a manual UA code as Google requires oAuth permissions to be granted for our plugin to read the GA reporting data

I’m somewhat web savvy but what little info that was on the initial screen wasn’t enough for me to be successful. That’s why the rating. Will look at the documentation sooner or later but not pleased when I had to spend a lot of time fiddling around with the plugin.

    Hi there,
MonsterInsights is used on over 2 million active installs and has a very quick setup process. If there are issues occurring, I would highly recommend reaching out to our support team at monsterinsights.com/contact via the pre-sale form so that they can take a look at it. It’s very rare for issues to happen but generally our team is able to identify any confclutinf plugins without needing to uninstall or deactivate anything and we can generally provide a solution that allows for the continued use of any conflicting plugins.
