    Salam,

    BarakAllahoefiek for the great work, but i just can’t get it done. Even if i donwload your CVS templates and then upload it again, i still don’t see prayer times when using shortcode. Also not in the tab “quick update” i see nothing, just this “Please Upload Timetable to use this page”

    It should work easier in my opinion, or maybe just better tutorial how to do it?

    AA Karim,

    I believed the plugin is very straightforward and hence didn’t need any tutorial.

    1. download the csv
    2. put your times
    3. upload
    Ready

    Now, it may be something very abnormal happening if you are on Shared Hosting, please let me know if that is the case.

    In last two years I had to serve another brother who had the similar situation and the reason was the database name, the way shared hosting create them virtually.

    However, I am more than happy to create a easy tutorial, once I understand your issue.

    Please let me know the environment you are trying to serve your site.
    VPS or shared hosting?
    Do you have access to server Log
    Can you collect the log from your provider etc

    I believe you are using latest WP and latest version of plugin.

    Im also having the same problem when I upload your sample csv I get this message

    then I go to quick update page it says
    </br>
    Update Iqamah time for April, 2017
    Please Upload Timetable to use this page

    Brothers,

    As I mentioned earlier, if you are using shared hosting, there could be some strange issue as I have fixed another brother.

    Can you please send me the server log when you upload the csv?

    I can solve it from there inshaaAllah.

    Salaam Brother we have the same issue, and we do use a shared hosting solution on a linux server, could u please assist ?

    @nastynaz500 I’ve deleted your offer to let the author login to your site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never offer credentials on these forums. That could get the plugin author into some trouble here.

    Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

    If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

    Please be aware that the author could be reported to the plugins team if he accepted your offer.

    I hope you understand the severity of sharing secret on the internet.

    OK, now back to actual issue. I am sure I can solve it for you. However for that what I need is,

    1. try to upload the csv
    2. collect the server error log from the cpannel or ask your hosting provider to give that to you.

    We can go from there.

    i have tried to upload it and there is no error just nothing in the screen tab quick update ?

    Hence I needed to see the server error log.

    Please ask your shared hosting provider to give it to you or you can find it in your cPannel too.

    Salaam Brother there has not been any server error log file generated as the plug in didnt throw an error it just didnt load the data despite saying it has if that makes sense..

    Salam brother,

    When the plugin fail to import data to a non existant database or table, it does not throw any exception or server error. So users are not notified.

    The only way to find out is ‘grep’-ing the error log file.

    As I mentioned before, it happened to one other brother in the past.

    Unless you have checked the log file yourself, please send me the log file so I can investigate and solve it for you.

    wasalaam brother that is the issue i dont have the log file as the server didn’t create one if that makes sense

    OK,

    What I can see is the access log.
    And you said you error log is empty.

    So the life cycle is:
    It shows you it processed the rows
    but did not import any rows
    and you don’t see any timetable?

    Do you have access to your db server? Can you see if the prefix_timetable is created? ‘Prefix’ is whatever prefix you or your shared hosting provider has set.

    Sorry to ask again, are you using CPannel?
    Did you actually check the error files?
    You can easily download the zipped error files from CPannel

    yes we use CPannel and i have access to the DB and the timetable DB isnt created we do check the error files but one hasnt been generated for this site or plugin
