I made a change to a php file in sfc-publish to get rid of a facebook like button.. and I did something wrong. Now I can’t get back to the admin to fix it!

    How can I fix???

    I’m getting this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function sfc_publish_make_excerpt() in /home/content/s/c/o/scottroush/html/wp-content/plugins/simple-facebook-connect/sfc-publish.php on line 346

    website is bigrockforge.com

I’d download that plugin again, unzip the files and use FPT to upload the file that you tried to change so that it’s the version from the plugin before any changes were made. Then, just try and do small updates to code – and remember to keep a backup of what was there before in case something like this happens again.

Using FTP (or another file management system your host may use) go to the plugins folder and deactivate (change the name of the plugin folder) or delete that plugin.
