Hello @eigenwijsheid.
Could you please describe in more detail the issue you are facing? Screenshots would be useful.
What makes you think that our plugin is the reason?
I asked Siteground support and this is what they replied: :
The exact string “no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate” is found in the plugin “cleantalk-spam-protect”:
baseos | mystery-solvers.com | u2367-nrfesjgcf0yk@gnldm1012.siteground.biz:~/www/mystery-solvers.com/public_html$ grep -ril ‘no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate’ *
wp-content/plugins/cleantalk-spam-protect/lib/Cleantalk/Common/Firewall/FirewallModule.php
wp-content/plugins/cleantalk-spam-protect/lib/Cleantalk/Common/HTTP/Request.phpDo you know which setting I have to deactivate to remove this string?
Thanks
Thank you for the details.
We’ll respond to you within 3 business days.
Dear EigenWijsheid,
These service records are used so that site visitors’ data is not cached. If these entries are removed, you will have false positives for legitimate visitors or receive spam from spammers.
Hello.
We haven’t heard back from you in a few days, so I’m going to mark this topic as “resolved”.
If you have any further questions, you can start a new topic or contact us via our private Ticket System: https://cleantalk.org/my/support/open.Sorry, I was still pondering about this.
It seems that by using Cleantalk a choice has to be made between safety (no spam or false positives) and speed by caching.
I would think it must be possible to have both on a WP website, or am I mistaken?
Our scripts are small. The impact on page load speed is insignificant. So you don’t have to make a choice.
Hello @eigenwijsheid,
We are going to reproduce this issue. We will let you know the results in the next few weeks.
Hello @eigenwijsheid,
Unfortunately, we could not fix the issue on the specified date.
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. We need 1 more month to fix it.
All the best.
@eigenwijsheid I’m sorry for the delay, we have plenty of requests to update or make new integrations, so we are a bit busier than usual. Anyway, I moved this task to high priority line, I hope you will have results in the next two weeks.
Hi @amagsumov
I use the caching settings in the Siteground Speed Optimizer plugin. All options are activated, but no matter what url is tested, it renders an error. As mentioned in one of my earlier messages above, SG support explained this is because of the Cleantalk plugin.

Hello @eigenwijsheid,
We tested the Siteground Speed Optimizer plugin on your site with the anti-spam plugin enabled and disabled. The results were the same in both ways – caching wasn’t working.
During our investigation, we found out that some plugin or theme is setting cookies on your website. Please take a look at the attached screenshot. Unfortunately, we couldn’t determine what it can be.
We suggest you check the Siteground Speed Optimizer settings.
Thank you.
