Can’t get bullets to show up in sidebar <ul>

Hi guys,

I’m having some trouble with my theme. I want bullets on my sidebar, however I can’t seem to get it to work. I assume I have to add this:
list-style:disc;

To this:
#sidebar ul

…but that doesnt work. I tried adding it to a dozen other things and that didn’t work either. Is there something that is blocking it on a lower level?
