Can’t get Blog title to appear over new header image

  • I’ve changed my header image to a shorter one, but I cannot find/figure out how to adjust the placement of the blog name over that new image. It still appears where it did — and now covers up the content.

I have been trying to make a modified version of the default theme.

I managed to find where to put in my header image, replacing the original. Then I found in the stylesheet how to reduce the header size to match my graphic. Before that, my image showed up,b but on top of some default light blue background.

The original height was 200 px, and now is 79 px.

Where would I adjust the placement of the blog name?

    Can anyone help?

I’m new to blogs and messing with templates, but have considerable background in html and some css.

You can see the problem on the blog (though I may be experimenting with it when you look): cosmeticdemocracy.com/blog and is just in testing phase.

  • solved my own problem!

It took a while, but I found it in the <h1> padding attribute set high to accomodate original large image.
