• I just changed the header on the default template that comes installed with WordPress. I cannot seem to change the page width and footer width though. I have changed the bg images width and the css sytles width as well for the page and footer with no success. My blog is: http://www.gamerentalguide.com/blog. If anyone needs to see my styles text, let me know. I don’t know how I would display them on this post.

Sorry….the width that I am trying to recieve for the page and footer is 760px.

Without code nobody will be able to help you. I don’t want to be rude, so I won’t suggest that if you don’t know how to display code on here then you have bigger problems than your widths… instead I’ll say, you need to cut and paste (Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V) the structure portions of your stylesheet (like header, footer, main, wrapper, container, whatever)… they are usually the one’s beginning with #’s.

    Thanks WarAxe,

I was actually able to catch the mistake myself since my last post.

Ok. Next time just cut and paste some code here and there’s bound to be someone who’ll see the problem. 🙂

I just spent the last week neck-deep in some advanced CSS development so it’s rather fresh on my mind. Fluid column widths, rounded corners with border highlights, minimum widths in IE… all with CSS.
