• I haven’t logged into my blog for a while (and it was only a few times when I first installed it). And of course, I can’t find the password I was given during installation. I have tried the password retrieval feature for the ‘admin’ user, but I don’t receive the emails (even though I get the success screen after using the feature). I can send a test email to the account though, and it gets through to me.

How can I retrieve the password in a more manual fashion?

Is it changing the password each time I ‘retrieve’?

Well, I finally guessed my password. I didn’t think I set a new one. Also, I guess that means it doesn’t reset the password each time I ‘retrieve’ it.

I’d still like to understand why I didn’t get the email though.

    I have the same problem!

I asked for a new password three times yesterday, looked in my spam folder too, no password.

I get this after asking for a new one:

The e-mail was sent successfully to ????? e-mail address.
Click here to login! Nothing turns up.

I followed a tut here to changed it myself in PHPMyAdmin but it does’nt even recognise my new one in there either.

I hope this does’nt mean I have to uninstall/reinstall or I shall be extremely annoyed with WordPress.
