    Hi,

I were able to translate all else from the checkout page (pmpro_checkout), but couldn’t find any translatable string for the “E-mail Address” and “Confirm E-mail address”.

    Hi @anttik

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro, I’m sorry to hear about this issue you are facing here.

I will need more information to assist you with this issue as those strings are localized and allow for translation.

    * How are you translating your WordPress site is this via a WordPress plugin?
    * What version of Paid Memberships Pro are you using?
    * Do you have a custom checkout page template?

    Hi,

    Version: 2.5.10.1

Tried to find the strings with POEdit and from https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/paid-memberships-pro/ (didn’t find them. Were able to translate submit button and every other filed, but those two seemed to be missing (ID of those fields are bemail and bconfirmemail)

Yes, though those are brought there by the shortcode pmpro_checkout, so there’s only default fields in use.

Thank you for any further advice.

Thank you for the feedback. The word “E-mail Address” does not exist in Paid Memberships Pro checkout but use the phrase “Email Address” here is a link to the code reference – https://github.com/strangerstudios/paid-memberships-pro/blob/dev/pages/checkout.php#L164

I checked the translation files and was able to find “Email Address” and “Confirm Email Address” in both GlotPress and the .pot file found inside the “languages” folder of Paid Memberships Pro.

I also did a grep search for “e-mail” and no frontend strings contained this word. Please let me know if this helps, or if you have any further questions regarding this. I ran tests with Paid Memberships Pro v2.6
