    Hello,

I’ve been trying to get WordPress installed and am running into a problem running the installation script. I’m using Laughing Squid webhosting. I’ve been trying to follow the instructions located here https://laughingsquid.us/faq/wordpress/install/

I uploaded the WordPress files to the public directory which for Laughing Squid is /www.example.com/web/content/

I try going to http://www.paulmdelaney.com/wp-admin/install.php and get the following message, “The requested URL /wp-admin/install.php was not found on this server.”

I am not sure what I’m doing wrong here.

    Thank you.

  • If WordPress isn’t installed at the moment, then all you should have to do is visit the site normally, and it’ll present the installer (ie sans /wp-admin/install.php)

Go to mydomain.com/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php but you need to fix your DB details before you can install.
