I've been trying to get WordPress installed and am running into a problem running the installation script. I'm using Laughing Squid webhosting. I've been trying to follow the instructions located here https://laughingsquid.us/faq/wordpress/install/

I uploaded the WordPress files to the public directory which for Laughing Squid is /www.example.com/web/content/

I try going to http://www.paulmdelaney.com/wp-admin/install.php and get the following message, "The requested URL /wp-admin/install.php was not found on this server."

I am not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

    Thank you.

If WordPress isn't installed at the moment, then all you should have to do is visit the site normally, and it'll present the installer (ie sans /wp-admin/install.php)

  3. Go to mydomain.com/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php but you need to fix your DB details before you can install.
