Hi, I am using latest versions of everything. I want to translate this line from WooCommerce:

“Shipping costs will be calculated once you have provided your address.” (it’s on the site of the cart, when you have enabled option for shipping calculation there)

I searched trhough the pot file but it’s translated 100% and already synced with the pot file. Where can I look next?

    Thanks.

  • Hi @smexhy,

I did a quick search in the WooCommerce code for that string and did not turn it up either:

    https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/search?q=you%20have%20provided%20your%20address&unscoped_q=you%20have%20provided%20your%20address

On my testing site, it says this next to the shipping calculator:

This is only an estimate. Prices will be updated during checkout.

It could be that the theme overrides this or another plugin does.

You could temporarily switch to one of the default themes like Twenty Nineteen and see how the text reads then. If it’s unchanged, then temporarily turn off all plugins except for WooCommerce and check again. If it’s back to the default, you can then turn them back on, one by one until it changes again. That would let you know where this string is coming from.

Let us know if we can help,

Thanks, you helped more than enough. I will investigate which plugin/theme is doing it. Thanks, we can close this as “solved” I think.
