# cant find install.php on server

 * hi guys
    I am a newer to use wordpress, and I was follow the instrustions to 
   build the my website. but I got a problem on install.php
 * Not Found
    The requested URL /wp-admin/install.php was not found on this server.
 * Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument
   to handle the request.
 * Notes: I use FTP software to upload all files in web root.
    and I didnt delete
   the oringinal files like email, etc, and so on.
 * can u help me?

 * First of all where did you put your WordPress files? Did you put in a folder 
   or everything under root directory?
 * For example, if your blog is [http://example.com](http://example.com) and you
   put everything under root directory without a folder. Then access installation
   file using the following url format.
 * [http://example.com/wp-admin/install.php](http://example.com/wp-admin/install.php)
 * If you put everything under a folder call wordpress, use the following url format.
 * [http://example.com/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php](http://example.com/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php)
 * Remember to replace [http://example.com](http://example.com) with your own address!
 * Hope it helps!

 * Also usually files are located under /public_html or /htdocs or /www
 * If you are unsure, ask your webhost.
