# Can’t find database?

 * When I try to install wordpress on my blog and I go to [http://www.domain.com/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php](http://www.domain.com/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php)
   I get this message:
 * Can’t select database
 * We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and
   password is okay) but not able to select the _wordpress_ database.
 * Wtf? What should I do? 😛 I’m 100% sure that I named my database “wordpress”,
   but I also tried it with the database prefix, and it didn’t work either. Can 
   anyone help me?

 * use phpmyadmin to find out what you did name it
