    Desktop Windows 10
    WordPress 5.2.4
    Mailpoet 2.12
    Apache Version 2.4.41
    PHP Version 7.2.23
    MySQL Version 5.7.28
    VPS OS linux

Maipoet just works like poetry. After a couple of years of use, for the first time, I’m encountering an error.

    1. Trying to export my subscriber list
    2. WordPress sends me to a page with the message an error has been detected with the plugin and pl check the email.

The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    3. The email says a critical error was observed and to check if the site is working fine. It gives some link where the error occurred, etc. The page link is for the same Mailpoet Export/Import Mailpoet page (Posted below)

    4. There is a list of errors that it provides in the email, which are also copied below

The site is working fine. The error is there when I try to export the subscriber list from the MailPoet page.

Sorry for writing a dirge here.

    Thanks for your help!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, MailPoet 2.

First, visit your website ( and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught ( and check for any visible issues.

Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.

If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.

To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don’t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.

    Hi there,

Sorry, this is the support forum for MailPoet 3, not MailPoet 2.

We don’t actively support MailPoet 2. But if you have a premium MailPoet 2 license you can log into your account and send our support team a message there.
