    Mike,

I’m not sure what your “attachment-image.php” page exactly does. Is this specific to your theme?

Attachments should be a Post Type like pages and posts and you can exclude post types from showing up in the Settings page.

    Thanks for the reply!

It is theme-related. I’m using one of the ThemeHybrid.com themes.

Unless I’m reading this wrong, adding any page should exclude that page: “Exclude display of related posts on these posts / pages”. Adding my attachment-image.php page worked for a while. I tried to add two more custom pages, but now none work. I just hide it it using CSS.

Mike, I’m not familiar with ThemHybrid’s theme system.

But, “Exclude display of related posts on these posts / pages” requires you to enter the page / post IDs only. It’s not going to understand any other entry.

Can you understand with the authors what exactly is the purpose of “attachment-image.php”.
If it is indeed to display attachments, then currently, you won’t have an easy way to disable the display except using CSS to hide it just like you did.

It’s a feature I have in the pipeline to implement.

Yes, it’s just a custom attachment page. In this case it’s for images. When you click on one of the images, it displays the attachment-image.php file.

A feature that excludes files like that would be nice. For now I’ll continue to hide it via CSS, unless I can find a custom post-type ID.

    Thanks for the prompt reply!

    Mike,

Excluding files is going to be rather unlikely. However, I will be adding the feature to exclude display on custom post types.
