    Hey,
totally weird. I can get the plugin to function perfectly on my dev site, but not my live site. Everything is exactly the same on both sites, to my knowledge.
I’ve tried FF, Chrome and Edge. I’ve tried Chrome Incognito.

Plugin was set to Activated during testing.

    Not sure what’s up! Thanks!
    Sweet plugin, BTW.

  • Hello @bestslopedesigns,

Do you have any cache plugins (or any other cache mechanisms) installed in your production environment?
You’ll have to delete the cache every time you change plugin’s settings.

    Thanks.

Hi, and thanks for the swift reply.
No caching plugins anywhere. Sorry, I should have mentioned that in my first post (I can see that’s a common issue).

    I’m stumped!

    Thanks!

    Hello @bestslopedesigns,

As I see you’re using BlueHost and as far as I remember they have a server-side cache mechanism based on Varnish.
Could you please check if it is enabled or not?

    Thanks.

Caching was not enabled. They do have it, but it wasn’t enabled.

    Hello @bestslopedesigns,

If you have time, please enable WP_Debug and check if there are any errors (related to the plugin) in wp-content/debug.log when you activate the maintenance mode.

    Thanks.

Awesome. I’ll do that and post back here. Great support!
