# Can’t enable comment function

 * I took over a client’s site from another designer who customized the WordPress
   function on the site. The blog location is [here.](http://bonaventureshoes.com/wordpress/)
 * I cannot for the life of me get the option to comment to show up. I tried starting
   from a default wordpress file but still nothing.
 * Is there anything noticeable that is wrong in the code?

   from the comment link at the foot of the first post on the home page. So I’m 
   not sure that the problem is…

 * You are correct! I think I fixed it by using default code from my WordPress install
   folder.
 * One last problem… I can comment, but they don’t show up on screen!
