# Can’t embed video

 * I can’t seem to get any of the video widgets to embed a video.
 * I have installed PixGridder plugin to create the boxes like ,he demo because 
   I am clueless with HTML and CSS coding.
 * Even with this plug-in deactivated I can’t get a video to embed on my front page.
 * I have used the embed code provided by YouTube. I have used the YouTube plugin
   and I have tried the YouTube Advanced by Embed Plus to create a special code 
   to use to embed the video. What am I doing wrong?

 * Hi Mischa, what code have you used? WordPress allows to embed videos by using
   the URL only: [http://codex.wordpress.org/Embeds](http://codex.wordpress.org/Embeds)
 * What’s your theme? Did you try to switch to another theme for a while?
