# Cant Edit Website

 * I am very new to this but I am using a Mac. I downloaded MAMP…followed the directions
   and created a website locally on my computer. I have been working on it and editing
   it regularly for weeks. Today I went to edit it and it appears but WordPress 
   does not? So I am basically looking at the website as if it was up on the web.
   The options to edit and word-press seems to have disappeared? PLEAE HELP???

 * Are you sure that both Apache and MySQL are running in MAMP? Are you able to 
   access PHPMyAdmin and see if the WordPress database is still there?

 * just figured it out … I was not in the /wp-admin/ section… It only was opening
   the localhost/website..
