Can’t edit predifined fields

Hello,
I’m trying to edit the Phone number predefined field on the Registration form. I don’t want to show the icon, and I want to make it a required field. But it when I click update, it doens’t save. Any clues on why?

I had similar issues with all fields. I could not save any changes I made to the field of a form. Updating to the latest version on GitHub resolved the issue for me.
