Can’t edit links and can’t switch to text version | WordPress.org

Yesterday I upgraded WordPress to 5.1.1. and since then I can’t edit the links! I’m pressing the gear pictograme in order to choose the internal link and to set it to open in new window but instantly my screen freezes! The side scrollbar disappears and the only option left is to close the article or draft. I can’t switch to block editor because I’m using Easy Recipe plugin for my recipes and that’s not working in block mode. Please help give me a solution!
I can’t switch either to text editor!

Hello.

Is this still happening? Did you try troubleshooting JS errors as outlined here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/common-classic-editor-errors-and-how-to-fix-them/
