Support » Plugin: DrawIt (draw.io) » Can’t edit diagram when SVG

  • I need a flowchart on some pages and I’m using your excellent plugin, but I have a problem.

When I choose the PNG file type, I can edit the diagram later, but the image quality is not very good. When I choose the SVG file type, the image quality is great, but I can’t edit the diagram later.

When I try, I get these warning messages:

Warning: Illegal string offset 'image_meta' in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/drawit/drawit.php on line 400

Warning: Illegal string offset 'title' in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/drawit/drawit.php on line 404

Warning: Illegal string offset 'title' in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/drawit/drawit.php on line 405

Warning: array_key_exists() expects parameter 2 to be array, string given in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/drawit/drawit.php on line 408

Moreover, the title of the diagram is “A”, instead of the one I had originally chosen.

I also noticed that when I create a new diagram with the same title as one I created before, the image it displays is the same as that of the previous diagram with that name. For instance, I create a diagram called “Test”, then I can’t edit it because of the bug I mentioned above. So I delete the image from my media repository on WordPress and remove it from my post, create a new diagram, call it “Test”, and then what I see is the previous diagram with the name “Test”.

  • P. S. If there is a way to increase the quality of the PNG made by the plugin, that would also work for me. As long as I can edit the diagram and it looks good, I don’t care about the file type.
